the ability to make someone such as Jace Wayland…Morgenstern? she isn’t sure, but she doesn’t really care, to her he’s simply Jace and praises to the Angel and God himself…either way she leans against him, wondering if he’s gotten taller or she just hasn’t noticed the height difference yet he kisses her forehead and suddenly it doesn’t matter. She’s about to speak when he gropes her, getting a small squeak, and then he pulls back. “Excuse you,” she steps back and does a full, slow turn, for him to take her in. “I am nowhere NEAR fat nor lazy - I do still TRAIN here, thank you.” she replies with a huff before nudging past him. “Oh? About the Blog
This blog is as canon compliant as I can possibly see fit though that does not mean there won’t be moments of canon divergence or things rewritten on this blog. I always automatically deem myself canon divergent as such. That being said I attempt to write as close to canon as possible with what I know. I’m still currently reading the novels (currently reading Edge of Victory II: Rebirth) and as such I will always be adding more layers to Tahiri as I go. That being said I DO know what happens to her and I do recognize her as both Jedi and Sith and I also recognize and really would like to heavily incorporate her Yuuzhan-Vong bits as much as I can.
About Tahiri
Depending on at one part the timeline you wish to interact is how Tahiri is going to see you as a person. If you interact with a child or up until her capture Tahiri is an outgoing sunspot who talks far too much and far too quickly, a DRASTIC difference to her best friend, Anakin, and they compliment each other that way. If you wish to interact with her after her capture and shaping you’re going to get a quiet Tahiri where her personality comes through at times but less so than before. Tahiri as a sith apprentice is different YET and Riina Kwaad is a different side of Tahiri before the merging of their personalities and it makes it a very complex situation.

I interact o n l y with mutuals. I do not follow mermaid characters or characters HEAVILY associated with water as I am aquaphobic. Though I am multi-fandom and I am aware of many fandoms I do not claim to be aware of all, do not let it discourage you from approaching. On that note while I may love to write with you I am incredibly slow at replying and enjoy taking my time and sometimes my muse doesn’t want to work either. Do not hound me for replies please.
I do not follow other Tahiris - if they exist I don't mind knowing or seeing them but I prefer to keep our blogs separated unless we've plotted a twin plot.
I do not tend to follow Game of Thrones/asoiaf or Marvel blogs for personal reasons that I’d rather not go into detail. There are a few I will follow because they are sweet as pie and I adore seeing on my dash.

I tend to prefer being exclusive with canon characters or even semi-exclusive as there are certain characters that are very important to Tahiri and her personality that I would adore to go in depth with and having ONE person seems easier to me. Now I do not force exclusive on people though it is perferred.

Triggers
I do not tag ships or things that simply ‘bother’ someone as that is not a trigger. As someone who has triggers for different things that exist for very legitimate reasons (i.e. abuse, drowning, etc.) I find it appalling and rude to ask for something that bothers you to be tagged.
That being said if you have an actual trigger I will happily tag it. All of my trigger tags are ’[x] tw’ i.e. ‘abuse tw’ and as this character has been subjected to TORTURE I’m going to definitely tag that.

ABOUT
Tahiri Veila was a force sensitive child born to Tryst and Cassa Veila on the planet of Tatooine, two force sensitive humans who were not properly trained in the ways of the force, simply passing the traits on to their only daughter. When she was a toddler an injured Tusken Raider named Sliven found his way to the doorstep of the Veila's who took him in and nursed him back to health, teaching him Basic. After he had healed he would spend his days helping with chores, teaching Tryst how to use Tusken weapons, and play with Tahiri. This went on for months until one day Sliven's tribe found that he was not dead and thought he was under attack as Tryst was sparring with him. Tryst and Cassa were murdered that day while Tahiri was inside where she felt them die. Feeling as if he owed it to the fallen moisture farmers he took in the toddler raising her as his own only after making a promise with a Raider that at the age of nine Tahiri would either fulfill a challenge or Sliven would give his life.
Tahiri grew within the Raiders, her first (and only) friend her Bantha named Bangor, and the only knowledge of her parents that she had was a pendant with their thumbprints within them. When she was about nine years old Tahiri was discovered by Luke and Tionne to be Force Sensitive and after a discussion with Sliven she was brought to the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4 where she began her training. While at the Praxeum she met the person who would come to be her best friend, Anakin Solo. Shortly after meeting him she began to have dreams in which he was included, in which he soon began to also have. This led to them sneaking out of the temple and finding a globe that is filled with the souls of children locked away by dark jedi, and a kushiban named Ikrit. It would come to pass that only Anakin and Tahiri would be able to save the souls within the globe, and that was the first of many great things they would accomplish as a pair.
Shortly after their adventure Anakin left the Praxeum to go on his own adventures leaving her for her own training and learning under Master Ikrit and taking care of the other younglings until the Peace Brigade came to the planet for the jedi to hand them over to the Yuuzhan-Vong. Anakin Solo returned right in time to save them, and she went against his orders and came back to help him along with Ikrit and two other younglings. This would lead to Irkit's death and Tahiri going after in an attempt to potentially keep him alive, which ended in her capture by the enemy. In the hands of the Yuuzhan-Vong she was tortured, her forehead being marked with three scars as in an attempt to make her more accepting of her new ways, and her shapers (torturers) experimented on her as they were yuuzhan-vong heretics. When she would not bow to them they forced memories of a yuuzhan-vong girl into her mind in the form of biotechnology which gave her a sort of split personality known as Riina Kwaad.
Anakin Solo came to her rescue, though she herself decapitated her captor Mezhan Kwaad, and showing that she had the ability to use Yuuzhan-Vong biotech without realizing she could do so. She’s become a key asset in the war as she speaks the language and understands the technology better than anyone and she still has the Force in her.- To be Updated as I read let it be known that I do know, vaguely, what happens-
VERSES
Child of the Sand Dunes
This verse follows Tahiri on tatooine until the age of nine and then her years at the Jedi Praxeum and adventures with Anakin Solo. This verse does not, currently, have a faceclaim.

This verse is the main verse of this blog, written mostly in the SECOND year of the yuuzhan vong war when Yavin 4 is under attack and Tahiri is captured, tortured and fake memories are installed into her mind in her PARTIAL shaping before Anakin Solo rescued her. Mostly she is in the healing process but this can be written at any time during the war. Typically taking place after her rescue. That being said the arc 'my ghost where'd you go' takes place after Anakin's death and is part of this verse as well.
What happened to the soul that you used to be?
On an anniverasry of the death of her beloved Anakin Solo she was approached by Darth Caedus - formerly Jacen Solo - who, through the means of Flow-walking, allowed her to see him once more. That began her addiction and descent into the dark side. Caedus warped her into his spy in the Jedi Order by feeding her sessions to be with Anakin once more, though never allowing them to truly be together. She was not fully loyal to Caedus, though, until he told her that his vision of the galaxy was a place where people like Anakin did not have to die long before their time. - This entire verse is based, currently, on wiki pages as I have yet to read these novels.
Until I had you on the open road
(this is a modern verse set in 2015) Born to Cassa and Tryst Veila Tahiri's parents were murdered late one night and she was left at the age of three to be adopted by a man by the name of Sliven, the superintendent of an apartment complex that was not in the best parts of town. She ran into one Anakin Solo on accident at the age of nine and the two have been inseprable since.
